About Karosel

 

Karosel was founded in 2015 by Rosemary Botting, initially as a domestic cleaning company, along with the assistance of her daughter, Michelle. Having realised the niche gap for high standards of care in this area (Handcross and surrounding villages) and with Rosemary having worked in the care industry for over 20 years, Rosemary decided to introduce the domiciliary care side of the business to provide a high-quality, friendly and professional service, at very competitive rates to vulnerable adults 24 /7.

 

Rosemary's Background, Views & Forward Thinking For The Future

I have worked as a care-coordinator for over 20 years where I have been responsible for weekly rosters for the carers in my area and making sure all calls were covered. This also included visiting the service users to carry out risk assessments, care plan reviews, staff supervisions, appraisals and prepare and chair monthly staff meetings. Whilst in this role, I was also Deputy to the Director.

 

It is important to me that my staff and service user’s work well together to ensure that the service user is receiving an excellent and rewarding service that is individual and person centered.

 

The company aims to offer skilled care to enable Service users supported by us to achieve their optimum state of independence, health and well-being. Treat all Service users and their representatives supported by us and all staff who work here with respect at all times.

 

Uphold the human and citizenship rights of all who work and visit here and of all Service Users using the service. Support individual choice and personal decision-making as the right of all Service Users. Respect and encourage the right of independence of all Service Users. Recognise the individual uniqueness of Service Users, staff and visitors, and treat them with dignity always.

 

Respect individual requirement for privacy at all times and treat all information relating to individuals in a confidential manner in line with the data protection act. Recognise the individual need for personal fulfilment and offer individualized care plans of meaningful activity to meet the needs of Service Users and staff.

As well as being passionate about work Rose is also passionate about her family. She has been taking her twin Grandsons Lee and Jake to football since they were 6. She is extremely proud to Sponsor the Lower Beeding and Handcross Lions U 12's, managed by Lloyd Hatton.
